A street elbow is a type of pipe elbow having an internal thread at one end and an external thread at the other. In other words, it is a type of plumbing or piping fitting which is intended to join a piece of pipe and another fitting at an angle. That is why a regular elbow and a street elbow is different. The basic advantage of the street elbow is that it can be connected directly to another pipe fitting without using a pipe nipple.
These Street Elbows are available in galvanized iron, malleable iron, carbon steel and stainless steel in pressure ratings of Class 150, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 6000.
